ATTITUDE AGAINST USING THE CIVIL COURT SYSTEM

I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

HARD WORK

REFUSAL TO BUY
LIFE INSURANCE

TOTAL FORGIVENESS FOR THOSE WHO REPENT FROM THEIR SINS

"But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared." Psa. 130:4

"I, I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and I will not remember thy sins." Isa 43:25 -

EXCOMMUNICATION
AND SHUNNING FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT REPENT

"Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it: if he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity." Ezekiel 33:9

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. FORGIVE OTHERS WHO REPENT

GRACE THOUGH JESUS CHRIST

RAISE OUR CHILDREN IN THE WAYS OF THE LORD

DISCIPLINE OF CHILDREN AND CHASTISEMENT

" I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men" 2 Sam 7:14

"He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes." Pro. 13:24

"Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying." Pro. 19:18

"Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him." Pro. 22:15

"Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die." Pro. 23:13

"I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." Psa. 101:3

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 1Co 15:33

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things Phi 4:8 .

ABSTINENCE FROM
STRONG DRINK

"Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor they sons with the." Lev. 10:9

"For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb." Luk. 1:15

"And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.." Eph. 5:18

"Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;"

ABSTINENCE FROM
SEXUAL IMMORALITY

"...the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." Rom 1:27

"Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted." 1 Co 10:6

"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." Gal 5:16

WE WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT WE DO HERE ON EARTH.

"But if ye do not do so, behold, ye have sinned against Jehovah, and be sure your sin will find you out." Num 32:23

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2Co. 5:10

" for it is God's minister to thee for good. But if thou practisest evil, fear; for it bears not the sword in vain; for it is God's minister, an avenger for wrath to him that does evil. Rom 13:4

WE SHOULD BE DEAD TO SIN
